Rachelle Lefevre

Rachelle Lefevre, a Canadian actress was born. Lefevre's first acting job began when she was employed at a cafe. The restaurant's Canadian film producer spotted the actress while she was serving tables. Later, Lefevre moved from Canada to Los Angeles where she earned the role of a regular in What About Brian (2006). Lefevre, as a teenager, working in a Montreal establishment serving sushi saw her plans to become an actor. So she sought out the casting director. What resulted was an Canadian TV sitcom. Her appearance was on numerous episodes of David E. Kelley's Boston Legal (2004), which eventually led to a principal part in the 2008 U.S. adaptation of BBC successful Life on Mars (2008). The family of her father is French and Lefevre was raised as a child speaking mostly English; she eventually moved to Los Angeles in 2004 due to a shortage of parts that spoke English in Montreal. She landed her largest film role yet in Catherine Hardwicke's adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight. It's the first novel in a well-known series of teen vampire novels.
