Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast journalist. Most well-known for her anchoring of the CNN morning show At This Hour, Bolduan is an American broadcast journalist. Bolduan was previously co-anchoring CNN morning programs New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan is also part of CNN's prestigious presidential election coverage from 2012. Bolduan has also reported from Washington DC, she has covered both the US House as well as the US Senate. Bolduan is part of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on congress and legislative activities, including talks to increase the federal loan limit and the Super Committee deliberations. Bolduan was an associate reporter on general assignments, covering such stories as the Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt and the Supreme Court's landmark decision regarding Obamacare. She also covered the introduction of stimulus plans for 2009. In 2007, she joined CNN as a national correspondent in 2007 for CNN Newsource. She wrote feature stories as well as breaking news stories to nearly 800 CNN Newsource Affiliates as a national reporter. In the past, she was an anchor on NBC News MSNBC & WTVD-TV. She lives currently in New York City along with her two children, husband and parents.
