Summer glau

The actress must really have impressed as she converted that single episode into an appearance on Whedon's next big hit TV show, Firefly. Summer Glau was very good at handling the complex role as River Tam. Tam's character, Summer Glau was compelled to take part in government-sponsored tests so that she could be prepared to play an ideal assassin. Tam's ability to control emotions is taken from her. In Firefly Glau was capable of displaying not just her acting skills but her ability to fight. Glau's training as an assassin provided her with the chance to utilize the full range of athletic skills she has. Summer Glau's classical training is what makes her an extremely skilled ballerina. She also has studies in tango and flamenco but it was a fractured toe that put her off dancing. Firefly lasted only one season, however it built an enthusiastic audience. Whedon got so passionate about the show that he returned a couple years later. However, Summer Glau continued to get some quality work.
