Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American writer and actress, best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first acting role on stage in the 50s. In 1956, she got her first big break with a performance on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. That same year, she recorded her first album, It's time for Tina. Louise began her journey into Hollywood as Griselda Walden in God's little Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The film received a lot of praise and Louise received her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. When she was in New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her relationships and friendship with Lee Strasberg. Her next role that she played was Ginger Grant, which CBS signed her up to play in the year 1964. Louise worked successfully in both Hollywood and Broadway as a somber character to counter her image of the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Sanctuary, although she was an accomplished television director on several series including Supernatural & The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28, 1965 and her family moved to Toronto when she was three where she subsequently spent in the adolescent years and childhood. Following her selection for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997 and was there ever from then on.
